–Panama has a population of 3,510,045 which is about 1.1% of the US population. Most of Panama’s population live in rural areas but that is changing with a large migration of people moving to urban areas. The only major city in Panama is Panama City, which has a population of 880,691. The economy of Panama largely consists of the services sector. This sector includes operation of the Panama Canal, tourism, banking, insurance and a host of other services.
Agriculture— What types of agriculture do they have and what type of diet do they have?
-Panama grows bananas, rice, corn, coffee sugarcane, vegetables, livestock and shrimp. Along with other sea food the afore mentioned agriculture products make up a large part of the Panamanian diet.

-Yes, the Panama Canal is a massive part of Panama’s economy and and generates large amounts of income from the services that go along with operating the canal. Tourism also makes up a significant part of Panamas economy.

It would be interesting to compare how of Panama’s and Israel’s income is comprised of their tourism. Israel’s tourism is driven by religion where Panama’s seams to be more economical because of travel but without them I think it would be safe to say that both would be much worse off.
